Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

We collect the absolute minimum needed to run the game:

• Country code (geo-IP): auto-detected to pre-fill your flag. You can change it freely.
• Email address (optional): only if you provide it at checkout — used solely to notify you when your territory is captured by another player.
• Payment details: processed entirely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your card information.
• Pixel ownership: public on the map (your flag is visible to everyone).
• Anonymous analytics: page views and basic usage via Vercel Analytics. No personal identifiers.

2. What we DON'T collect

• Your real name
• Your address or phone
• Your card details (Stripe-only)
• Cross-site tracking cookies
• Social media identifiers

3. How we use your data

• To process payments (Stripe).
• To send you territory-attack notifications (Resend, only if email provided).
• To display your chosen flag on the map.
• To improve the game via anonymous analytics.

4. Third parties

We rely on these services and you should review their policies:

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies/local storage for game state (cart contents, flag selection, onboarding flag). No advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your rights

You can request deletion of your email and any associated transaction records by emailing us. We will comply within 30 days. Note: your purchased pixel ownership is public game state and cannot be retroactively erased, but the email link to it can be removed.

7. Data retention

Email addresses are retained until you request deletion. Transaction logs are retained for accounting purposes (typically 5 years per most jurisdictions).

8. Children

The service is not intended for users under 13. If you are under 18, please use it only with parental supervision and approval for any payment.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
